What to expect: the halcyon days is a unique participatory outdoor experience. It will begin in the Paper Factory - meet at the Main Entrance. Then as a group we will walk to a specially chosen outdoor location offsite (15 minutes walk) where there will be live music and an opportunity to dance. We will walk back to the Paper Factory for a gathering, some reflection and cake around a campfire.
Running time 90 minutes.
please be prepared for uneven terrain, ticks and potential hot/cold/wet weather.
this event will be filmed, footage from the event will be used at a later date in a short ghostbag art film.
the outdoor route for the halcyon days goes through various different terrains. this includes concrete pavements, grass and mud/stones. there is a slightly steep gradual incline as well as shorter, less steep hills. if you have any access requirements, especially surrounding mobility we would highly recommend getting in touch to ensure the route is accessible to you. we would not recommend those who use manual wheelchairs attending without support. the team can provide pictures and details of the specific route upon request.
